31 DAYS OF COFFEE MUGS: Sheep Coffee Mugs

Sheep Coffee Mugs Sheep collectors rejoice. I found a selection of woolly coffee mugs for you.

They're made by Dublin Gifts of Ireland and they feature a selection of your sheep friends.

Your choices include the mug shown here, which is covered with a rainbow of sheep with lots of sheep-themed references.

Or the attractive green mugs shown below with two versions of these Irish Wooley Jumpers theme in two shapes so you can pick the shape that you prefer.

Finally, the black and white sheep mug shown below...for the black sheep in the family, of course.

Not only would these mugs suit a sheep collector but, since they are marked Ireland and made by Dublin Gifts, they'd also make a wonderful souvenir of time spent in Ireland.  They would also make a great choice for a St. Patrick's Day cup since some of they hail from Ireland and some of them even have a green clover on them.

You can find them all on Amazon by clicking here. If you or someone you know love sheep, it is noteworthy that there's a host of matching merchandise that includes salt and pepper shakers, oven mitts, towels and more. You could really assemble a nice sheep-themed gift set with some of these pieces.

I am hard picked to choose a favourite. The black sheep mug makes me smile because of the reference to the black sheep of the family but I love the colours of the other pieces. Which one do you like the best? Is there a sheep themed coffee mug in your future?

31 DAYS OF COFFEE MUGS: Starbucks 2015 Year of the Sheep Zodiacal Mug

Happy New Year! What's up for you in this year? Are you a goal setter? A planner? Those of you who know me well know that I am not very good at either of those activities. I am not much of a goal setter or an advance planner.  Those who have worked with me also know that I am enthusiastic and that I love to jump into new projects.

Therefore, it is only recently that I decided to share with you some of the interesting, wonderful, beautiful, unique, new, used and even vintage coffee mugs that I pass in my travels by creating a series on this blog. Without further ado, I bring you the first in a new series THE 31 DAYS OF COFFEE MUGS. I hope that you will enjoy seeing some of the magnificent coffee mugs that I have discovered. We cannot own them all but we can certainly want them all.

First up in celebration of the new year is this handsome Starbucks mug that was released on December 26, 2014.  It is in the form of a sheep since 2015 is the Year of the Sheep in the Chinese Zodiac.

It is a handsome red, white and yellow mug that holds 14 ounces or 410 millilitres of your favourite hot and steamy beverage and measures 5.5 by 4 by 3.7 inches or 14 x 10.3 x 9.3 centimetres.

I love the colour combination and the three dimensional look of the sheep and the tail-style handle. How about you?

As a side note, it is only because of this mug that I knew what year 2015 is in the zodiac at a friend's New Year's Eve dinner party last night.  I was one upped though by a friend who knew what animal was symbolic of 2014. Oops.

You can order this Starbucks mug from the sellers on ebay by clicking right here.  While you're there, you might like to check and see if one of the Shang Hai Special Edition Year of the Sheep mugs is available. It is an especially nice version of the mug.  If you are a teddy bear fan, you might also enjoy the Year of the Sheep Bearista teddy bear, too.

The Serta Counting Sheep

The Serta Counting SheepSpurred on by eBay seller Mandicraft's purchase and subsequent sale of four Serta Sheep mugs, I went looking for more information about the famous or perhaps infamous Serta Counting Sheep.

Turns out the Serta Sheep are actors who were very carefully hand-picked by the Serta Mattress company and who have gone on to phenomenal commercial success.

If you are blissfully unaware of WHO the Serta Sheep are, I offer up this YouTube video, which is perhaps my favorite of the numerous Serta Sheep commercials. I love it because it is so heartfelt and, perhaps, because the lady in the commercial shares my name, LOL.

If you are looking to buy Serta Sheep plush toys, I recommend turning to eBay and, if you are wondering if Serta Sheep are a good thing to sell on eBay, the answer is a resounding YES. They are definitely something to sell on eBay. See for yourself all of the Serta Counting Sheep by clicking here to eBay.
