Though I am not a girly girl, I cannot help but love the girl-themed coffee mugs that I just discovered on Etsy. They're perfect for anyone who is a girlie girl and even for those of us who just appreciate one or another of the very pretty images.
They were created using the illustrations and watercolor artwork of artist Julia Upcott and sold in her online shop, Art Rose Prints on Etsy.
I challenge you to pick just one. I have to say I love them all but am especially fond of the donut mug though I am not entirely sure what that says about me other than the fact that I love a pretty donut!
I also like the very pretty initial mug which can be, of course, customised for you. There are lots of mugs around that are decorated with an initial but not many that are pretty the way this one is.
I also like the Chanel No. 5 mug though I would not choose it for myself but there is something nostalgic about the image. The eyelash and lipstick mugs are fun, too especially for someone who loves makeup!
Julia's work gives meaning to the words Pretty in Pink! You can find her work on Etsy by clicking any of the photographs on this page or by following this link.
I am looking forward to Etsy's Made in Canada national pop-up event on September 24 though I have never attended an event before. If you are interested in checking out the event yourself, you can find the list of locations on Etsy here. You'll see cities listed from coast to coast including Halifax and Vancouver and many cities in between. What a great opportunity to support Canadian artists!
You never know
what mugs I might
have in store for you!

I Heart Snoopy mugs are Pretty in Pink, too.
Ooooh! I really love the eyelashes and the initial mug. At first, I thought the initial was a mosaic of pieces, then I realized it is roses. I love pink roses!!! Very pretty mugs indeed. And the doughnut? Well, it just makes sense when we're talking coffee time.
ReplyDeleteGood catch, Cynthia about the initial being constructed of roses.
DeleteWhat a great collection of 'girly' mugs from this talented Canadian artist. I enjoyed all the mugs you featured from her shop and have now browsed around Art Rose Prints at all her other items. Love the nursery prints.
ReplyDeleteThere was so much more in her shop -- other than mugs -- and yes, I loved much of it, too.
DeleteWow will you look at all those mugs....they are pretty.
ReplyDeleteObviously, I agree. Thanks for visiting, Grammie!
