Good Luck Care Bear Funko Pop Vinyl Figure
I am a Twitter user and in my feed regularly appear Funko Pop vinyl figures like this flocked Good Luck Care Bear. I have never written about a Funko figurine before and there's not much one can say about him in terms of a blog post other than that I think he is super adorable. He stands 3 3/4 inches tall and reminds me of St. Patrick's Day. He'd make a fine addition to your decor when you are celebrating Ireland, leprechauns and St. Patrick's Day. You can find him on Amazon by clicking right here. His release date is March 20, 2018.
Do you collect Funko Pop figures? Do you think this little guy is too cute?
Happy
St. Patrick's Day!

31 DAYS OF COFFEE MUGS: Green Coffee Mugs for St. Patrick's Day and All Year Long
St. Patrick's Day arrives shortly on March 17 and I am going to have to pick a green coffee mug in which to drink my tea. I do not actually own any dedicated St. Patrick's Day mugs though I would love to. However, I do have a few green mugs that will do the trick because as you know on St. Patrick's Day anything green will do the trick.
I have created this collage with a grouping from some of the green mugs I have on hand right now and my collection is likely to change. However, given the choice today, I particularly like the mug with the diamonds on it that goes gradually from green to yellow at the top. It's a handsome piece by Elite Couture. The others include vintage Turi Design mugs from Norway, Portmeirion Swirled cups and saucers, a round Niagara Falls mug, Royal Norfolk ribbed round mugs and Wendy Tanock's best friends mug. As a Twitter user, I like the little bird that appears on the other side of that last mug. Of course, any of these mugs will do to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
This collection of green mugs, especially the two in the lower left hand corner, also make me think of spring and a recent visitor who saw this image said that it reminds him of the 1970s and olive green in the kitchen and I can see that though only two of the styles shown here are actually vintage pieces.
Anyway, for those of you who love green, click here to have a peek at the green mugs in my eBay store!
How about it? Will you be using a green mug on St. Patrick's Day? Or maybe all year long?

31 DAYS OF COFFEE MUGS: Starbucks Boy With Green Balloon Mug
Flynn is a real boy whose image has been transported across the United States and farther via this mug from Starbucks Green Dot collection. Starbucks' designer Esther Asuncion fashioned the image after her real-life son who recognized himself immediately in the image on this ceramic double-walled tumbler.
Designer Asuncion grew up in Guam but moved to the United States to study fine art and studio art. She donned a green Starbucks apron because the job gave her the flexibility to pursue her chosen line of work not realizing that she would eventually join the Starbucks visual presentation team.
She was asked to submit a design of a little boy or a little girl playing with a balloon and her illustrations had to be submitted on the very next day. In my mind, it was natural that the chosen illustration featured a certain three year old boy named Flynn with dark hair, a big smile and a quest for adventure.
This image was one of a hundred designs that were released for the 2014 holiday season and that came packed in a handsome red box making them perfect for holiday gift giving. Today, this retired mug can be found on eBay by clicking right here.
This post is the final in my 31 DAYS OF COFFEE MUGS series. There were a couple of days when I wasn't sure what I was going to write about but I eventually found inspiration for all of the days and, as a matter of fact, I have a short list of ideas for future posts. Once you start looking, interesting coffee mugs are literally everywhere.
Meanwhile, you can see all of the posts in my series by clicking on the tab at the top of this page that reads coffee mugs. To be notified of my future posts and yes, there will be more coffee mug posts, be sure to use the subscribe box on the right-hand side of this page.
I would love to hear about your favourite coffee mug and/or your coffee mug collection!

31 DAYS OF COFFEE MUGS: Starbucks Dot Collection Mugs & Tumblers
Five shapes. Twenty designs per shape. One green dot. That was the recipe for Starbucks' 2014 Dot Collection, which saw the release of mugs and tumblers in those numbers all of which included the dot. Artistic. Fun. Nice.
The theme? Starbucks gave their designers permission to create pieces that could be considered timeless and modern, anything went so long as they incorporated the iconic green dot.
The result? Some coffee mugs and tumblers that are sleek and modern and some that are bright and whimsical. I like many of them. Stay tuned for my next post in which I discuss what might be my favorite piece in the dot collection.
Starbucks' Green Dot collection was available in the stores starting on November 14, 2014, with each store carrying its own collection. If you missed them all or even just missed one at the store, you have eBay to help you find the missing pieces for your collection. See for yourself here.

31 DAYS OF COFFEE MUGS: St. Patrick's Day Coffee Mugs
It occurred to me recently that it might be fun to have a St. Patrick's Day themed coffee mug so I went searching. I found a few really nice examples and so these mugs, devoted to the Irish, leprechauns and St. Patrick's Day, became the subject of the 22nd post in my 31 DAYS OF COFFEE MUGS series.
EAT, DRINK & BE IRISH MUG
The first example I came across was this Eat, Drink & Be Irish mug by Grasslands, which is handsome in its own right but when you throw in the little leprechaun playing peekaboo you make it extra fun.
I'll issue a warning though. I have written about peek-a-boo mugs before and had them become unavailable very quickly. If this is a mug you would like to add to your collection, don't delay. I was able to find it here on eBay.
IRISH COFFEE MUG
Then I found this fun Irish coffee mug, also by Grasslands. Did you know that Irish coffee has all four food groups? Alcohol. Caffeine. Sugar. Fat. How can you beat that? I love the cute little leprechaun perched on the handle and the Irish coffee recipe that is printed on the back. You can find this mug on eBay by clicking right here.
BELLEEK PERSONALIZED MUG
Finally, I thought I would add the lovely, personalized Belleek mug shown below. It is a handsome piece, crafted from fine china and hand decorated in Ireland.
The fact that it can be personalized to read, Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Brenda, Chris, Herself or Himself or literally anything you wish makes it an extra personal gift idea. It is a bit more expensive than the rest of the mugs on this page but it is a quality piece of Belleek china that the recipient will treasure forever. You can find it on Amazon right here.
