31 DAYS OF COFFEE MUGS: Duct Tape Mug

My first introduction to duct tape was about 25 years ago when I met my husband's parents for the first time and discovered the duct tape holding their bumper in place.

Of course, as my 26th wedding anniversary approaches, I know a lot more about duct tape than I did before, which brings us to the 12th post in my 31 DAYS OF COFFEE MUGS series.

I have no idea if a coffee mug could actually be made out of duct tape but no fear, I've found a suitable replacement for the 'real' thing.

It's a silver duct tape mug, perfect for the man who embraces fixing things as well as for the man who resists fixing things and instead mends them with...duct tape.

It's also perfect for the man who enjoys crafting with duct tape. I have one grown son who carried a duct tape wallet for years.  I am certain he still enjoys checking out the different colours of duct tape at the hardware store.

If you have a really big user of duct tape at your home, you might put a gift set together with one of the mugs, the duct tape book and, of course, a couple of rolls of duct tape. 31 DAYS OF COFFEE MUGS: Mugs For Old Guys

My husband has chosen to embrace the advancing years by announcing to the world that, "Old Guys Rule."  He is happy to announce it on a worn-out hat that he refuses to part with, a number of t-shirts and even on a coffee mug.

I therefore set out to see what options there are in the world of coffee mugs for men of advancing age. Mugs, that is, with an "old" theme.

You  might want to think carefully before you gift your dad or even your grandfather with one of these mugs.  Will he love it or will he be offended? That is a very important consideration.  I know my husband would love it, especially if he needed a new coffee mug...and it would be a perfect Father's Day, birthday or Christmas present for an "old" guy, don't you think?

New Old Spice Mom Commercial 2014

Old Spice has done it again! As the mom of a couple of young men, I found this new Old Spice commercial positively hysterical.

I am not sure how the young men in my life will like it but I do hope that they will laugh at it, too and that they know that while I love them A LOT, I am not like the mother you will see here in the advertisement for Old Spice Refresh Body Sprays:
