An American In Paris Blu-ray Review

An American In Paris Blu-ray movie review.
An American in Paris was once called 'The Perfect Film.' It shared the honour with the film Citizen Kane. It eventually won six Oscars, including those for Best Picture, Art Direction, Cinematography, Costume Design, Music and Writing. Sounds pretty close to a perfect film to me!

A few weeks ago I had an order to place with Amazon and added this blu-ray disc to it in order to reach the threshold for free shipping. Last weekend, we made the time to watch it and I was more than suitably impressed. The film is stunning...and I'm not the only one to think so.

To read what else I thought about the movie and what the real blu-ray experts have to say, visit my page, An American in Paris Blu-ray Review

To order the movie from Amazon.com, you can click right here to see both the blu-ray and DVD versions.

As I finished writing this page tonight, I realized that I have yet to watch the special features. I'll have to report back on them!

Meanwhile, I'll say thanks for dropping in,

Martha Stewart Halloween Magazines Are A Good Thing!

My collection of Martha Stewart Halloween magazines are out again as they are at this time every year. I may only pick one or two ideas from them since time seems to be so short but I surely do enjoy reading them again and again, every year.

This year, I wrote a page about them to help people locate issues that are missing from their collections. I do hope some people will find this index helpful and enjoy looking at all of the beautiful Halloween covers on Martha's Halloween magazines, both the regular October issues and the Halloween special editions.

Halloween,
It's A Boo-tiful Thing!
I wish you a Happy Haunting!

Titanic Memorial Cruise

The Titanic Memorial Cruise. Hmmm. I'm not sure if it is for me or not.

In 2010, a travel company is recreating the original cruise that the Titanic was supposed to take and will include the same itinerary, number of passengers, menu and music.  The ship even manages to be uncanningly like the Titanic...is this creepy or is it the opportunity of a lifetime?

Would you join the Titanic Memorial Cruise? Read all about it (and add your thoughts) by clicking right here.
